A Short Powerful Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, according to John 16:23, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ.

I worship you today Lord, and according to Psalm 71:8 ” My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.”

Father, according to 1John 1:9, you say that if I confess my sins that Jesus Christ is faithful and just to forgive me of my sins, and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I confess my sins today Lord, and even the sins that I’m not aware of, I asked you to forgive me.

Father according to Philippians 4:6, you say, ” be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let my request be made known on to you.”

So, Lord, I request that you keep me today. Bless me, preserve me, protect me, and keep me safe from the hands of the wicked, from the work of the devil, and from this nearer of wicked men.

Lord stand up for my defense today, be my buckler and strength, my exceeding fortress, my hiding place.

I hope and trust in you Lord, don’t allow the enemy to win and prevail over me.

But prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies according to Psalm 23:5.

Lord I bless you, and according to Psalm 9:1, I will give you thanks with my whole heart, I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

Thank you, Father, for answering my prayer, and I believe, I receive, and I have; according to Mark 11:24, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
