50+ Healing Scriptures in the Bible to Confess Daily

If you or someone you know is sick… you need healing.

Jesus’ earthly ministry was focused on healing; He healed everywhere and everyone that came to him with demonic possession, physical deformities, sicknesses, and incurable diseases.

“A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all (Matthew 15:30.)

That was we over 2000 years ago, but today, sicknesses, the devil and diseases are all still here tormenting the lives of many with sicknesses in the body, mind, spirit, and soul.

It’s not a coincidence that you landed on this page. Perhaps you’re battling with a life-threatening sickness and you need God to touch you now. Or maybe someone you know is sick and you need strength to stay strong to encourage and pray for their healing. Either way; you will find help here.

This post will comfort, remind, strengthen, inspire and build your faith to finally receive God’s healing.

That said if you are in a hurry and don’t have time to read the entire post, here are a few healing scriptures to write down.

Nevertheless, I would encourage you to read through the entire post, or at least, bookmark the page to read later when you have time to do so.

Healing Scriptures in the Bible to Confess

From Malachi where God will arise with healing in his wings, Jerimiah where the Lord will heal and save, Isaiah where the Lord will restore you to perfect health, and Exodus where the Lord heals every sickness; here are a few powerful bible verses for healing.

Malachi 4:2

“But unto you, that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

(Malachi confirms that God will arise with healing in his wings.)

Jerimiah 17:14

“Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.

(Jerimiah reminds us that the Lord will heal and save you.)

James 5:14-15

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”

(James encourages that you find a prayer partner to pray with you.)

Isaiah 38:16

“You restored me to health and let me live. Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.”

(Isaiah is adamant that the Lord will restore you with perfect health.)

Isaiah 57:18-19

“I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near, says the LORD. And I will heal them.

(Isaiah is very confident that even this sickness shall pass away.)

Jeremiah 33:6

“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”

(Jeremiah wants you to know that you will make it through alive)

Deuteronomy 32:39

See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded, and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.”

(Moses in Deuteronomy makes it clear that the Lord has the final say, not man)

2 Chronicles 7:14-15

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

(God wants you to examine your life.)

Exodus 23:25

“Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you”

(Moses again reminds us that the Lord will take away every sickness.)

Isaiah 53:4-5

“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.”

(Isaiah concludes by saying “Jesus paid the price for you, and that you’re healed.)

Note: I wrote this article because I was inspired after reading Kenneth Hagin’s healing scriptures found in two of his books; ” God’s Medicine and Healing Scriptures.” I would encourage you to get at least one if not both of them.

God’s Word is God’s Medicine for Healing

Key verse: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. ”Proverbs 4:20-22.”

Suppose you visited your doctor and he gave you medication with directions on how to take it. But you decided not to follow the direction and take the medicine according to your convenience. What would happen to you? Well, many have died like this.

God’s Word is medicine, and unlike over-the-counter medication which may or may not help you; God’s Word will heal you but you need to follow God’s instructions.

All you need to do is to follow God’s instructions the same way you would diligently follow your doctor’s direction.

This is God speaking to you in Proverbs 4:20-22. He goes on to say, Incline your ears unto His words, let them not depart from your eyes, and keep them in the midst of your heart.

Why? FOR THEY ARE LIFE unto those that find them, and HEALTH to all their flesh (v. 22).

The Will of God is To Heal

The will of God is to heal you. Now let’s look at some scriptures to confirm this:

Matthew 4:23-24

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Matthew 8:14-17

14 And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.

15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 9:20-22

20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him and touched the hem of his garment.

21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Matthew 9:27-36

27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

Matthew 14:13-14

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

There are many other such verses in scriptures that remind us that it was, is, and always will be the will of God to heal His people.

Redeemed from the Curse of the Law

Let’s start by answering the question “what is the curse of the Law?

In the New Testament, the Law usually refers to the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible.

Then if we go back to the Pentateuch”we find out what is the curse of the law or punishment for breaking God’s Law.

The curse is threefold, and it is recorded in Deuteronomy 28:15-56 as poverty, sickness, and spiritual death.

We Are Redeemed From the Curse of the Law

In Galatians chapter 3 we see that through Christ we have been redeemed from the curse of the Law as recorded in Galatians 3:14-15 ” Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

As you have read “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law.” And according to Deuteronomy 28 from verse fifteen, sickness is a part of the curse of the Law.

Moreover, in Deuteronomy 28:61, it states that every sickness But notice that according to these scriptures, specifically Deuteronomy 28:61, states that ” EVERY SICKNESS, and EVERY PLAGUE, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee until thou be destroyed.”

This means that whatever sickness you are batting with is a curse of the Law and Galatians 3:13-15 says you have been redeemed from the curse of the Law through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

You can use the Galatians chapter 3 as proof and a witness to confess and claim your healing today.

A Confession You Can Declare Now:

According to Deuteronomy 28:61, my sickness, (whatever it is), is a curse of the Law. And according to Galatians 3:13-15, Jesus Christ has redeemed me from this curse and on this basis, I confess I am redeemed from (name your sickness, whether it’s cancer, tuberculosis, kidney trouble, or liver trouble).

God’s Medicine Works! A Testimony

I can fondly remember a few years ago when I got my back damaged and could barely walk. I was in bad shape and needed help fast.

I had little funds at the time which was enough to cover only one visit to the physician.

After that initial visit, I was left to suffer in pain and I could feel the bones in my body aching

The pain was too much, I felt like I was losing my mind and permanent mobility in my back.

Nevertheless, like a sudden appearance of bright light in a dark room something clicked and I was drawn to God’s word where I would the scriptures I needed to remind me that God still heals.

The truth is I did not have any other option, added to that the pain was so excruciating I couldn’t sit up for too long, lie down for too long, or even walk without crying out in pain, so I decided to cry out to God for healing and strength.

Today: “I’m healed”, my damaged back was restored completely. There’s no longer pain or any form of discomfort in my body.

The doctor had told me that one of my legs was longer than the other, and I needed treatment to fix it, but I’m totally healed, and I thank God for His healing.

What was my secret? You may ask. Faith in God’s word; that’s it, and faith is all you need. Along with taking the following steps:

Confess With the Mouth and Believe from the Heart

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart…” (Romans 10:9).

God’s provisions, whether salvation, favor, or any other blessing to manifest bountifully hinged on one believing and applying from the heart (the spirit) the Word of God.

What often happens though is this. Many people will read certain promises and perhaps even quote them. But to get that word to their spirit instead of their head is often the issue and one of our greatest challenges.

The key to getting past this hurdle is revealed in Romans 10:9; “confess with your mouth until it gets into your heart.”

You don’t need to make things more difficult than they should. Receiving from God is simple; we often complicate it, but it’s as simple as confessing with your mouth in prayer, believing with your heart, and receiving what you confess and believe. That’s it, and the good thing is that you can start doing so now; use the healing scriptures you wrote down earlier.

Hindrances and Conditions for Healing

Scriptures reveal seven hindrances to healing, and we will go through them briefly one by one.

Earlier, we spoke about confessing with your mouth and believing with the heart to receive healing.

But truth be told, some folks will tell you, and maybe you are aware of persons who confessed and believed but still aren’t healed.

But not because somebody says he is believing, and making a good confession means he is going to receive healing.

Why? you may ask. Because each person seeking healing has a part to play in the healing.

It’s true that with God all diseases are curable. But not all sick people are curable. Many people desire to be healed, but unfortunately, they don’t meet the conditions of God’s Word; and sadly won’t receive anything.

Think about it, many persons desire eternal life, but not all will get it because they fail to meet God’s terms for eternal life (some may even have faith).

Similarly, people will blame the lack of faith when folks don’t get healed. While that may be a fair assumption, it’s not necessarily the case.

The key to receiving is to meet God’s condition highlighted in His Word, and the first of these six conditions is to prepare for healing.

1. Preparing for Healing

Many people don’t receive deliverance from sickness and disease because want to rush through God’s word. You need to take time with God’s Word to prepare yourself to receive from Him.

I’m not talking about the occasional teaching on healing, but rather, I’m referring to a spiritual attitude to search the scriptures, spend time in the word, meditate on the word, pray, and just delight yourself in God. This is what God is looking for and the main reason why Jesus would many times teach, request an affirmation, or give instructions to the people before He healed them.

In other words, following God’s instructions are essential to receiving healing. Take this verse for an example: John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

There are many other such verses in the Bible, but the main takeaway I want you to have is to prepare yourself for healing.

2. Know It’s God Will to Heal You

Have you ever been a part of a prayer meeting or heard someone praying and at the end telling God to perform the request if it is; His will.

Such prayers would end well because if you aren’t clear about God’s will then what is the basis of your faith?

When it comes to healing many people are not healed because they are questioning whether or not it is God’s will to heal them.

But it is God’s will to heal everyone who will come to Him on His conditions.

When you seek healing you must be confident”with no wavering whatsoever”confident that it’s God’s will to heal you. The slightest bit of wavering, doubt, or even questioning will ruin the chance of getting lasting healing.

After all, Isaiah 53:5 says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.”

And 1 Peter 2:24 says “Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

3. Get Rid of Sin

I know we don’t like to talk too much about sin, but if we are serious about healing then no stone must be left unturned. Shall we proceed? I take that as a yes!

Many do not receive healing because of sin in their lives. Let me show you. Take the children of Israel for example, after God brought them over Jordan they were winning every battle, no one was a match for them, they annihilate everyone as you would crush an ant without breaking a sweat.

But suddenly they lost a battle and Joshua fell before God and asked, “Lord, what’s going on? Why is this happening? This isn’t supposed to happen.”

The Lord replied, “There’s sin in the camp, get rid of it and I will return to you.” When they found out where the offense was and who was responsible for it, they started winning their battles again.

Read James 5:14:15, “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”

4. Don’t Worship Man

Hero worship unfortunately is the reason why many people do not receive healing because they are relying on men to heal them.

Don’t get me wrong, God uses men to bless men and His power flows through men.

But when you see people start to request only certain men or women to pray for them then we have a problem and it’s called “trusting in the arm of flesh”.

Scriptures make it clear that we are only to rely on God alone and not on the arm of flesh for deliverance.

Not because someone is anointed mean he can help you any quicker than somebody else can. Because when you start looking at men instead of God, things can go wrong and leave you heartbroken.

5. Decide “When Sometime” Is

When is “sometime?” Anytime, which is why those who believe that they will get healed sometime will end up not getting healing at all.

You must decide what “some time” is. Whether now, tomorrow, a week, year, or ten years from now; you need to decide when is “sometime.” Otherwise, you will not receive your healing.

You can do like most people and set a time in the future; but why not now? Nevertheless, with God, you are going to have to set a time. And whether now or tomorrow; abide in faith, confess that you received when you prayed, and wait for the manifestation even if it does not come immediately. But it will come because you have kept your part of the agreement.

6. Determine Your Goal

We are still talking about healing, but many don’t know and have missed their healing because didn’t have a strong desire.

Goals are like desires and the Bible instructs us that “What things soever ye DESIRE when ye pray ….(Mark 11:24)” believe we receive and we shall have whatsoever we prayed about.

I would encourage you to determine what you desire, set a time to receive, and then pray and believe. That’s all you are called on to do. Leave the rest to God, He will take care of the “having.” It’s His responsibility after you fulfill your part of the contract.

These six points are merely a few of many things that can block people from receiving healing.

If you need healing but haven’t received it; I’d recommend that you do a thorough examination of your spiritual life to see where you are at spiritually.

Now maybe a good time to look down in your heart. See if you’ve got some unforgiveness or bitterness down there, if so, confess it to God and move on.

A Prayer For Personal Healing

Father, thank You for Your Word that You have made abundantly clear that You want me to prosper and live in good health. Lord, as Your covenant child no sickness will befall or overtake me. Jesus has redeemed me from the curse of the law. He has destroyed every curse from my life. Your Word is clear, I confess it, believe it, and receive it with faith. I am blessed! Sickness has no right to reign in my life. In Jesus’ name, I am free! Amen

Spiritual and Emotional Healing Scriptures

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” (Psalms 34:19)

Don’t find it strange when you are tested, but the problem we often face is that sometimes we may feel sinful, alone, abused, rejected, or betrayed…all these can inflict emotional and spiritual pain that you will need help to overcome.

The following scriptures will comfort, bless, and guide you as you increase in faith and recover your strength, love, and passion for God and His words.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Isaiah 40:29

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

Proverbs 4:20-22

Proverbs 17:22

“A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”

Isaiah 33:2

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Scriptures About Physical Healing

God promised to heal, in this case, we will look at bible verses that speak about physical healing for our bodies.

“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” (Jeremiah 33:6)

“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” (3 John 1:2)

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelations 21:4)

“Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” (James 5:14-15)

You restored me to health and let me live. Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.” (Isaiah 38:16-17)

“I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near, says the LORD. And I will heal them. (Isaiah 57:18-19)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”(Isaiah 41:10)

“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5)

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 30:17)

Healing Verses from Psalms

The Psalms is one of my favorite books, it’s a powerful expression of God’s love, mercy, forgiveness, power, compassion, and many other virtues we need to get by daily.

I’ve put together a few healing and strength scriptures from Psalms to encourage you:

Psalm 16: 1-2

“Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the LORD, ‘You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.'”

Psalm 41: 4

“As for me, I said, ‘O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against you!'”

Psalm 109:30

“With my mouth I will give great thanks to the Lord.”

Psalm 31:9, 14-15

“Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief.” “But I trust in you, Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’ My times are in your hands.”

Psalm 147:3

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 6:2-4

“Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony. My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long? Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.”

Psalm 23: 1-4

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Psalm 107:19-20

“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them.”

Psalm 73:26

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Psalm 34: 19-20

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.”

Healing Miracles of Jesus

Our Lord Jesus Christ performed many mighty miracles when he walked the earth in the flesh over 2000 years ago. Today, though He isn’t walking the earth in flesh and blood, He’s still performing miracles and healing those who call on Him. Here are a few mighty works that Jesus did to remind you that He can heal you now.

“While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. After saying this, he spits on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and puts it on the man’s eyes. Go, he told him, wash in the Pool of Siloam (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg? Some claimed that he was. Others said, No, he only looks like him.

But he himself insisted, I am the man. How then were your eyes opened? they asked. He replied, The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see. (John 9:5-11)

“As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.

Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her. So he went to her, took her hand, and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.

That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. The whole town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various diseases.

He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.” (Mark 1:29-34)

“While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. Your daughter is dead, he said.

Don’t bother the teacher anymore. Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed. When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother.

Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. Stop wailing, Jesus said. She is not dead but asleep. They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.

But he took her by the hand and said, My child, get up! Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.” (Luke 8:49-56)

News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.” (Matthew 4:23-24)

“Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness¦Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:1-8)

“On hearing this, Jesus said to them, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. (Mark 2:17)

“One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. There in front of him was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?

But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him on his way. Then he asked them, If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out? And they had nothing to say.” (Luke 14:1-6)

“Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4:30-31)

“There he found a man named Aeneas, who was paralyzed and had been bedridden for eight years. Aeneas, Peter said to him, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat. Immediately Aeneas got up.” (Acts 9:33-34)

“You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached – how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil because God was with him.” (Acts 10:37-38)

“As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, Jesus, Master, have pity on us! When he saw them, he said,

Go, show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him”and he was a Samaritan.

Jesus asked, Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner? Then he said to him, Rise and go; your faith has made you well. (Luke 12:17-19)

Prayer to Receive Jesus as Savior

Dear Heavenly Father … I come to You in the Name of Jesus. You have reminded me in Your words that whoever comes to you will in no wise be cast out, “… him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37).

I thank you for this privilege to be your child and You won’t cast me out.

Father, You also said in Your Word, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:13).

I am calling on Your Name, and I am confident You have saved me and I am now saved.

You also said “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation” (Rom. 10:9,10).

I confess Jesus Christ now as my Lord and Savior and I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that You raised Him from the dead for my justification.
